THE BERMUDA TAX HAVEN: TUCKER'S TOWN ‘OLD BATTERY’ COMPLETE WITH ‘QUINTESSENTIAL’ CANNONS, ‘POWDER KEG’ COTTAGE, GLASS ELEVATOR & INFINITY POOL (28.10.2017)
The Telegraph’s Bermuda 'tax haven' spin is presumably propaganda designed to distract from the 'autonomous' City of London.
... some things are not every girl's dream...
In the British tax haven in Bermuda you can purchase a sprawling colonial estate, which even the price tag of $23 million dollars can't hide, is really just a posh prison.
The estate is in… Tucker’s Town and is called the ‘Old Battery’ which comes complete with ‘Powder keg’ cottage and it’s own ‘quintessential’ cannons !! and of course an infinity pool to relax by during those battles.
... so colonial... it's a posh prison stuck on a desert island really...
The interior of the main house looks akin to something out of Holloway Prison with a frilly makeover from a pretentious interior designer which would make anyone LOL.
It kind of reminds me of when I was a small girl and I bought a couple of the cutest little ducklings, I called Sir Francis Drake and Jemima Puddle-duck while my mother inexplicably bought a goat she bundled into the back of the station wagon, that she christened Mrs Peel.
Some things are not quite every girl’s dream.
