US, TURKEY & KURDS CONTINUE PLOTTING IRAQ & SYRIA CARVE-UP, AS SYRIA 'PEACE TALKS' DRAW CLOSER & BARZANI DEMANDS 'INDEPENDENCE' IN IRAQ (08.01.2016)
It is obvious to all law abiding civilians everywhere, that all the unprecedented private armies being used to try and overthrow the Syrian government and continue the occupation of Iraq fly under many monikers that ultimately hide behind what is really NATO's ‘Islamic State’ banner.
It is impossible to ignore that the US-led war on Syria is ultimately about trying to maintain the occupation of Iraq too.
parasites: Chairman of US Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford and Turkey's Chief of Staff Hulusi Akar, General Staff headquarters, Ankara, 6 January 2016
NATO are basically saying they will install their own 'governments' or carve up Iraq and Syria, where carving up Iraq and Syria along phoney sectarian lines, has obviously been their preferred option, since the illegal Iraq war began in 2003.
The sudden meteoric rise of the fake ‘Islamic State’ did coincide with a legal challenge from the Baghdad government over stolen oil, while the Baghdad government, unlike the Syrian government are unable to join the ICC because they are still actually occupied.
With the ongoing crisis in Syria and recent tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joseph F. Dunford (above), arrived in Ankara on Tuesday with a busy schedule of talks with Turkish officials, including his counterpart Hulusi Akar and Defense Minister İsmet Yılmaz. Dunford arrived on Tuesday and will hold a series of official meetings on Wednesday beginning with Akar, as well as several other top military officials at the General Staff in Ankara. Following the execution of Saudi Shiite cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr by Saudi Arabia on Saturday, tensions between Shiite Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia – fierce regional rivals who support opposing sides in the conflicts in Syria and Yemen – heightened.
Additionally to the tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia, the region continues to experience crisis due to the ongoing situation in Syria and Iraq. In this regard, Dunford's visit is perceived to [be] happening at a significant time. Dunford will also meet with Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu on Wednesday. Along with regional developments, Dunford will also address the coalition fighting DAESH. Following Turkey's downing of a Russian aircraft for violating its airspace despite numerous warnings, tensions between Turkey and Russia continue to grow due to heightened rhetoric from the Kremlin. Dunford will discuss recent developments with Russia and its involvement and support to the Syrian regime.
On Dec. 4, 150 Turkish soldiers equipped with heavy weapons arrived on the outskirts of the DAESH-held city of Mosul in Northern Iraq to train forces, but Baghdad demanded their immediate withdrawal, citing a breach in sovereignty. Iraq further gave Ankara a 48-hour ultimatum to withdraw the forces or face "all available options." The tensions between Turkey and Iraq continue to hold significance, as Ankara has not withdrawn the forces. Dunford will discuss the issues causing tensions between Turkey and Iraq.
Dunford is also expected to visit İncirlik Air Base and will also address the PKK Syrian affiliate Democratic Union Party's (PYD) attempts to establish control over all territory lying between the northern Syrian towns of Azaz and Jarabulus near the border with Turkey. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Davutoğlu, as well as other government officials, continue to reiterate that Turkey will take all necessary actions against the PYD to prevent it from establishing power around the Azaz- Jarabulus area.
Ankara is experiencing high diplomatic and military traffic with French Minister of Defence Jean-Yves Le Drian also arriving in Ankara on Tuesday. He met with Davutoğlu as well as Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. The diplomatic traffic in Ankara will continue with an official visit by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden on Jan. 23 to meet with Erdoğan and Davutoğlu.
Of course NATO are desperately trying to cover up that an illegal sectarian constitution was imposed on Iraq that gives special ‘rights’ to Kurdish ‘political’ leaders to essentially divide and rule Iraq, or indeed try and carve Iraq up.
Well, the US and Turkey 'political' and 'military' classes are both supporting the 'Islamic State' and all who fly under the moniker.
It is a completely phoney war between Turkish and Kurdish 'political' leaders.
The president of the Northern Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Masoud Barzani, held a meeting with consuls and diplomatic representatives of 36 countries on Wednesday in which he discussed a possible break from Baghdad and independence for Iraqi Kurdistan.
KRG Foreign Affairs Minister Falah Mustafa Bakir reportedly told the press that Barzani talked about "the right of self-determination with the consuls and representatives of diplomatic missions," adding that he also discussed the fight against DAESH, the economic crisis in the region and the state of refugees living in the KRG.
"People should be given the chance to decide on their own future through holding a referendum and the outcome must be respected by all. The referendum will display the will of Kurdish people, and will be held when there is a peaceful environment that is away from violence," Barzani reportedly told the foreign diplomats.
Barzani last month instructed his Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) to work with other parties to find a mechanism to hold the promised referendum on independence. According to KDP officials, Barzani urged them in a leadership meeting to find a mechanism with other parties for a referendum on independence.
Commenting on the referendum on independence, the president of the Middle East Research Institute (MERI) based in Irbil, Iraq, Professor Dlawer Ala'Aldeen, recently told Daily Sabah that although "most people in [Iraqi] Kurdistan believe that independence is inevitable in the long term" not many would agree that now is the time for its declaration. Regarding whether Turkey is ready for an independent Kurdistan located on its southeastern border, Muzaffer Şenel, the director of the Center for Modern Turkish Studies at Istanbul Şehir University, said Turkey is not far from the idea of an independent Kurdistan and that Turkey has been aware of the matter since the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Barzani has harshly criticized the PKK and held it responsible for ending the reconciliation process with the Turkish state due to its increasing attacks throughout eastern and southeastern Turkey. With Barzani's support for Turkey in combating the PKK and DAESH, Turkish officials have also stressed the significance of cooperation with the KRG. Turkey deployed 150 soldiers and up to 25 tanks to a camp in Bashiqa, Iraq to protect Turkish servicemen training Iraqi volunteers to fight DAESH. Barzani said in early December that the Turkish forces in Iraq are there within the context of a pre-arranged deal between the two countries to train forces that will participate in an operation to liberate Mosul from DAESH. With close ties between the KRG administration and Ankara, Şenel said that although Turkey is ready to accept an independent Kurdistan, what matters most is how the process is managed. "I believe that Turkey was managing the process very well until now, but though Ankara is ready for an independent Kurdistan, I do not think that the public is as ready as Ankara," Şenel said. He also said that Barzani's policies throughout this process are highly significant.
It is this illegal ‘constitution’ imposed by NATO in Iraq, that is very obviously having very serious consequences everywhere now.
entirely bankrolled by corporations: Chairman of US Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford and Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Davutoglu's official residence, Ankara, 6 January 2016
The decisions that the Syrian and Baghdad governments make are obviously none of our business, so our focus is limited to the legal reality, that it is illegal for the likes of the British government to militarily interfere in Iraq or Syria, which the public are expected to pay for, just so corporations can profit.
Of particular concern too, is that while the next Syria ‘Peace Talks’ that are supposed to be on January 25th 2016, draw ever closer, there is no mention, let alone agreement on just who will participate, because of course all the very many private armies are not looking for elections or peace.
The US-led coalition have always been looking to install Kurdish 'political' leaders in Syria too, in the same way as Iraq, but it just hasn't thus far played out the same, because it is impossible to fool everyone with the same ruse all over again.
think about it: the very far from 'revolutionary' kurds cosying up with the very from 'socialist' hollande in february 2015
It is now January 8th 2016 and there is no mention or list of agreed participants, to move ahead to elections in Syria.
It is impossible to know what is planned, because all the American military are doing is meeting in Turkey to continue scheming and plotting, anything but elections in Syria.
Of course, there is no lethally armed Syrian Opposition that has any public platform to stand on, because there are simply no political or legal grounds for claiming the Syrian government has not been fulfilling it’s administrative role as a government.
Let alone that would lead to taking lethal weapons from foreign governments like the Genocidal British government, to try and overthrow the Syrian government.
TEHRAN (FNA)- The US ground forces have been stationed in the surrounding areas of Tishrin Dam Northeast of Aleppo province after the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) seized full control of the dam from the ISIL nearly two weeks ago, media reports disclosed on Friday."The US troops are presently in control of the Tishrin Dam," the Arabic service of Deutsche Welle news channel quoted Syria's Local Coordinating Committees as saying on Friday
This is the first US deployment of ground forces in Syria after crisis started in the country in March 2011.
The US deployment runs counter to President Obama's repeated claims that his country would have "no boots on the ground" in Iraq and Syria.
On November 25, the Syrian Local Coordinating Committees announced that the US officers and soldiers had entered the town of Kobani and on December 22 they set up an operations room with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the town of Mesrin in the Northern part of Aleppo province in a bid to take control of Tishrin Dam.
On December 26, the SDF seized control of Tishrin Dam on the Euphrates river at the border of Raqqa and Aleppo provinces and almost a dozen villages in the nearby regions in Northern Aleppo province.
Sources also said that US warplanes staged massive strikes on ISIL targets near the Dam.
I do not personally believe this is the first deployment of US ground troops that are essentially supporting unprecedented private armies.
...it could not be more obvious that NATO and Kurdish 'political' leaders are trying to carve up Iraq and Syria
Of course all the US-led airstrikes have been in support of and dropping supplies to the fake 'Islamic State'.
The 'news' media are very far from innocent bystanders in promoting 'Islamic State' war propaganda.
If all what are in legal terms unprecedented private armies, were removed from Syria, the US-led war on Syria would immediately end.
...the entirely lawless corporate badge and label brigade: Chairman of US Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford, US Ambassador John Bass, PM Ahmet Davutoglu, FM Feridun Sinirlioglu, Chief of Staff Hulusi Akar, MIT Director Hakan Fidan, PM's official residence, Ankara, 6 January 2016
It is sadly very likely that the US, Turkey & Kurds are up to no good to try and create yet another distraction around the upcoming Peace Talks over Syria, because there is still no-one to produce that has an ounce of credibility.
