PRESS TV FRONTLINE EXCLUSIVE: SYRIAN ARAB ARMY BEGIN PREPARATIONS TO LIBERATE PALMYRA (25.05.2015)
The Press TV front line exclusive exposes the very valid point that US satellites have of course been tracking their own phoney NATO 'Islamic State' terrorists across an open desert without conducting any air strikes against them.
It is becoming increasingly clear that the US regime have been using their air force as part of a military support and supply line for the phoney 'Islamic State' who are the one and same phoney western backed Syrian 'Opposition'.
The Syrian Arab Army are incredibly brave and determined.
Shot at the Syrian army front line, Press TV’s exclusive report shows the latest footage from the ISIL-held ruins of ancient Palmyra. The Syrian army is engaged in a "complicated" offensive to liberate the city and its 3,000-year-old world heritage site from the ISIL Takfiri terrorists who overran the city last week.
“The military situation is complicated, it’s not easy but we have a plan to stop the terrorist attack. We estimate that ISIL had over 1,800 militants in the attack. Less than 300 of them are locals but we are still on the outskirts of the city and once we regroup a substantial force things will begin to change,” a Syrian army officer said at the front line.
On Sunday, the Takfiri militants slaughtered 400 civilians, mostly women and children in the central Syrian city. The massacre came after the Takfiris accused the victims of cooperating with the Syrian government and refusing to follow the orders of ISIL.
Early on Saturday, the terrorists locked down Palmyra’s museum after destroying some modern plaster statues and raised their ominous flag on the ancient castle overlooking the city’s world heritage site. The Takfiris currently control parts of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Izadi Kurds, and others, as they continue atrocities there.
