OBAMA'S NOT SO 'MISSING' OIL TANKER, AT HEART OF CIA ASSET BARZANI'S KURDISH 'INDEPENDENCE' BID, STILL MAROONED OFF US BY LEGAL DISPUTE (27.10.2014)
Obama has been caught red-handed in the criminal act of trying to break up Iraq, (and Syria) with the legal challenge started by the previous Iraqi government, over the theft of oil by the CIA asset Barzani's Kurds with the help of Turkey, and obviously the US government.
the not so 'missing' oil tanker.
The CIA asset Mr Barzani's own dodgy London lawyers helpfully put it in writing that Barzani was stealing oil, with the assistance of Turkey, for the express purpose of creating a not so 'independent' Kurdish puppet state of the US.
The 'stranded' oil tanker is directly relevant to what is going on right now in the Middle East, that has always been going on.
The racist and colonialist US and EU 'governments' are illegally embarking on endless brutal 'regime change' to suit whatever they want in the Middle East, with no regard whatsoever for human life.
Turkey did however last month claim it was still moving Kurdish oil despite the dispute, with payments made through Halkbank, although there was no clear information on where the oil was supposedly going.
"...Turkey's state-run lender Halkbank, where buyers of the Kurdish oil make their payments to, holds $400 million for the sold oil, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz told reporters on Wednesday..."
“...It would be dangerous and destabilizing for the KRG to flout the sovereignty of the Iraqi central government because of the precedent that would send for other provinces in Iraq and other ethnically autonomous movements in the region,” said David Goldwyn, formerly the US State Department’s top energy diplomat who now serves as a consultant on international trade issues. “From a diplomatic point of view, it’s not a close call.”
Officially, the US has said that it would prefer to see all sales of oil produced within Iraq’s borders go through the Iraqi central government’s marketing arm, SOMO. However, the Obama administration has stopped short of saying it would outright block any sales of Kurdish oil..."
"...The oil tanker carrying Kurdish oil has clocked up three months idling off Texas coast as the legal dispute over the cargo ownership awaits solution.
“The Obama administration doesn’t plan to intervene in a legal dispute between Baghdad and Erbil over a tanker of Kurdish oil that has been idling off Texas’coast for months,” Platts cited Amos Hochstein, the US State Department’s acting special envoy and coordinator for international energy affairs, as saying. According to Hochstein, the solution will have to be determined in the courts.
The United Kalavrvta was prevented from unloading by a Texas judge in August, who subsequently withdrew seizure of the vessel for lack of jurisdiction.
Kurdish leadership has been faced with numerous difficulties in their attempts to sell oil independently as Baghdad claims ownership of the cargo.
As a way of preventing export of crude by the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) Iraq has resorted to blacklisting of tankers from its oil terminals that were hired by KRG.
The United Carrier, the United Dynamic and the Nautilus were banned from entering Iraqi oil terminals by Iraq’s State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO)."
