EDWARD SNOWDEN HOAX: NEUTRALIZING SQUABBLING OVER 'SAFE HARBOUR' & EU DIRECTIVE 95/46/EC. (05.04.2014)
It would be ridiculous to believe that government and big business do not communicate by sufficiently secure means, if and where, really necessary.
Therefore it seems to me, that where people can prevent...censorship of the people, which is the primary purpose behind all surveillance of the people, that at least, if not entirely eliminating, the people can sufficiently neutralize the worst excesses of...surveillance.
Clearly -everyone- in big business and government have long been taking liberties with the people.
NB: Wikipedia is wrong to make the unattributable claim that directives are not legally binding.
The Directive is..."an important component of EU privacy and human rights law..."
"...A decision which produces legal effects or significantly affects the data subject may not be based solely on automated processing of data. (art. 15) A form of appeal should be provided when automatic decision making processes are used..."
