Donna Bugat -v- State of Victoria (Case 352): Re: Covid 19 'home testing' & DHHS 'automated text' (15.08.2020)
I prefer to be called Donna, because that is the name my parents gave me that I also love and is me, while the name Barbara is too PTSD for me.
I have not been given my result from DHHS Covid 19 testing on Sunday 9th August 2020, so there is no timely or consistent testing provided by the State of Victoria in Australia.
My boyfriend told me he got his Covid 19 test result in two hours in the Netherlands.
There should be a choice of different types of free 'home testing' people can choose to do for themselves if that is what they choose to do for themselves, that is not reliant on needing the permission of or being ordered around by politicians or medical professionals etc, that also takes into account people's different health situations, such as my having PTSD.
The benefits of people being able to choose to efficiently do their own 'home testing' is that people will be able to help themselves and others which will also help the economy safely re-open too.
Covid 19 is not the only problem many people have in their lives, and is not something that should make people powerless.
I would personally be willing to look into and help oversee 'home testing' which could easily be arranged by providing me with a) the available home testing kits along with b) Angus Knight facilitating a $2,088,000 government grant for me, because I should not be discriminated against etc.
A 'home testing' system could include a global database people could access for their own results.
