Donna ‘Black-Cat’ Bugat: Churchill deportation of Jews interned on Isle of Man to Australia in WW2, while stopping evacuation to Palestine, echoes Section 44(c) case in Australia, banning dual ’citizenship’/descent Jews from Australian politics (31.07.2019)
The Catalan Italian Bugat family have historically been both Jewish -and- Catholic throughout a very many centuries of changing ‘borders’ around the Mediterranean. Many Italian Jews are historically Jerusalemites, so are often found among Sephardi -and- Ashkenazi communities.

The highest echelons of the British and Australian intelligence services who posed as my parents and godparents completely changed my identity when I was a child, specifically to hide my Jewish (and Catholic) ancestry. So my childhood echoes that of Edgardo Mortara, the Italian Jewish boy who was 'acquired' by the Vatican.
My own childhood echoes that of Edgardo Mortaro, the Jewish boy who was ‘acquired’ by the Vatican. The highest echelons of the British and Australian intelligence services who posed as my parents, completely changed my identity when I was a child, specifically to hide my Jewish (and Catholic) ancestry.
Churchill notoriously said to ‘collar the lot’ when he rounded up Jews from Austria and Germany living in the UK, who were then interned ‘off-shore’ on the Isle of Man, before being deported to Australia (and Canada) while the UK refused to ‘allow’ Jews to evacuate to Palestine (31.07.2019)

Itta, Sara Bugat who was born about 1864, died on February 26 1940 and is buried in a Jewish cemetery in Vienna in Austria.
The same Churchill, later refused to liberate Catalans from Europe’s favourite dictator Franco following World War Two, while being an apologist for a Nazi general who murdered partisans, some of whom were Bugats in Northern Italy.
Guiseppe Bugatto (similar name to Bugat) who was born on 11 September 1873 and died on 25 February 1948 was a Catholic Italian Austrian, Austro-Hungarian politician whose family came from Friulli too, which is now in Italy. Gorizia is right on the 'border' with Slovenia.
The Fruilans of Northern Italy have always lived in a long contested region, causing endless forced ‘migrations’ and changed ‘identities’ and so on that saw a number of Friulian Bugats migrate to Australia after the Battle of Caporetto which was the Italian Verdun.
Friuli and Carnia Day is a commemoration of the declaration of independence of Friuli, under the Patriarchate of Aquileia in 1077.
It is “strange but true” the descendants of an unassuming aristo-cat called Alpais Bugat who lived in 1255 in what is since 24 June 2016, now called Occitania in France, include a veritable who’s who of European royalty and Popes, including the Avignon Papacy, Aragons, Medicis, Bourbons, Stuarts (Scottish of Breton origin, ie: the Rohans in Morbihan) et al.
The Bugats included Cathars.
I personally think Cathars were Jewish & Catholic 'conversos' who sought to unite people who were being divided between the excesses of the Muslim and Catholic empires of the times.
Bugats have always lived in the mountains and valleys of what have always been ever changing 'border' regions, finding themselves press-ganged by the passing whims of whoever happened to be seeking power at any given time in 'between' European, Arab or Asian 'empires'.
It would be self-evident to most reasonable people it is both morally and legally wrong people still have to hide or deny their ancestry in Australia, including to even be able to participate in politics, in a country where the overwhelming majority of people are descended from immigrants.
There have been numerous Bugats in Hungary and Slovakia and so on through to the Central Asian steppes.
I have personally accrued a number of legitimate 'citizenships' from two birth certificates, before adding my own multicultural family.
The fact today a family can live in and be resident in multiple countries at the same time, because different family members live in different countries, does not change they are a family.
Of course one of the reasons there is less immigration from Europe to Australia, than there might otherwise be, while putting to one side the forced 'migration' of 'convicts' to Australia which was the original Guantanamo, is because most Europeans obviously found it cheaper, easier and more convenient to emigrate to the United States, which is closer to Europe.
There is the undisputed fact the British Establishment sought to stop Jewish people living in Jerusalem.
... the umbrella statue and conservatory...
I guess the sophistry over ‘citizenship’ in politics in Australia is a red herring probably best reconciled by those directly standing for public office in politics in Australia, choosing/declaring their ‘residency’.
... the conservatory is quite like home really...
When I was walking along a street in St. Kilda I wondered if I would recognize the street I once briefly lived in, in Melbourne, before I left Australia when I was a teenager, many years ago. I was thinking I could only remember it was a small apartment across the road from a park, when I happened to turn the corner and there it was, across the road from a park, with a Jewish centre in the next road. Not far from the part of Prahran either, where my own family once lived.
... wow.... "composting reduces CO2 by 60% compared to landfill"...
The global trend in most people not being able to identify any real 'difference' for the public, in policy between politicians, is the same among the public in Australia.
St.Kilda is an 'alternative' area, which hasn't been served at all well by politics because it still also attracts the very serious social problems associated with street hookers and a continuing heroin epidemic. I wondered, when I was late returning from doing some research in the State Library one evening, why the streets were so empty of most people, until people familiar with the area said many local people just don't go out after dark because of the violence. The area hasn't yet had the Southbank 'Crown' Casino 'makeover' which is controversial, or a regeneration to apartment living which is so popular in the central part of the nearby city. The central city apartment living, which makes the city seem like a miniature New York in many ways, provides easy access to all sorts of cultural activities.
... the worm home at the eco centre...
There is no doubt there is huge scope to improve the lifestyle in St.Kilda for so many more people with affordable apartment style living in a sea-side area so close to the multi-cultural city, of which it is really an extension.
I sometimes wonder if the Mediterranean Israel joined the EU if that would help stop the European and Arab divide and rule.
There is no good reason... the civilian public anywhere, are subjected to the whims of the revolving doors of politics.
