PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP COULD HELP RESTORE TRUST IN POLITICS BY HONESTLY NEGOTIATING BETWEEN GUN ‘LOBBY’ & CHILDREN, A SUFFICIENT DE-ESCALATION IN WEAPONS THAT ACHIEVES A REASONABLE SOLUTION THAT BENEFITS EVERYONE (22.02.2018)
The mass shooting in Florida is part of a global pattern, where a very many years of terror has led to a complete breakdown in public trust of administrative governance on multiple levels.
This horror is highlighted by the unusual true story of myself and my brother’s court ‘victories’ against the international gun ‘lobby’ in both Australia on 13 December 2000 and the United Kingdom on 13 December 2007.
So the questions are what are the limits of administrative governance and how does anyone negotiate them ?
In Parliament Square, Central London, I did take responsibility to do what I could against very considerable odds, because I knew there was a very real 'clear and present danger' of terror there is no doubt I was trying to stop, so frankly the only real ‘negotiation’ was how to try and stay alive to try and stop terror for the benefit of everyone.
I was a constant between changing political administrations so I saw and lived the reality of all that in the most serious circumstances possible, while I did also walk the talk and do what I said I would do, in forcing the repeal of harmful legislation.
The nature of our 24/7 campaigning over so many years in Parliament Square, Central London, meant that we had all the real arguments with real people, no politician will ever have, because they are hidden away in their ivory towers.
There were no terror attacks in the UK on my very long seven plus years watch in Parliament Square, Central London.
The only real front line in a war (and all war is very, very dirty) is always a very difficult negotiation over the limits of administrative governance because the truth is it is only law abiding civilians who will ever push for the real democracy of the peace and harmony of the rule of law.
This is partly down to the nature of the revolving doors of politics which means all politicians are just competing among... themselves.
The hidden abuser in Westminster who actually caused the most harm to myself and everyone else, was Stakeknife Corbyn, because he was hiding who he really is, because he was always trying to stop any real public engagement with issues.
In contrast everyone can see Donald Trump does not hide who he is and isn’t even bothered about whether or not he is President, and indeed there are no real obvious benefits for Trump in being President.
Nevertheless it is something he did unlike other people... choose so he has to accept responsibility to try and do his best.
The role of President itself is not really so different from how politics really operate in any country, because of course each country has it’s own ‘sleights of hand’ favouring the few.
In the UK this includes the wholly unelected House of Lords which is just stuffed full of cronies.
The men with... guns and trophy footage will never hand the levers of administrative governance to a fluffy cat, because it is not in their own interests to do so, which means there is always varying degrees of an absence of legitimacy in most administrative governance.
They do however sometimes miss out on real opportunities for themselves too, that could benefit everyone, because it is so obviously possible to improve administrative governance for the benefit of everyone.
The question about gun control in schools is on the face of it straightforward because every rational person wants to see children safe in schools, so a nadir has been reached when children justifiably do not feel safe in schools.
The answer however is as always not as entirely straightforward as it seems.
Most people would know however that President Trump like anyone else, could if he had the goodwill, significantly restore trust in politics by negotiating between the gun ‘lobby’ and the children because it is so clearly possible to have sufficient de-escalation that leads to a reasonable solution that could benefit everyone.
The reality is that thus far all... political sides everywhere have failed to protect children.
